Plenty of Gamers™ (“the Service”) is operated by Dragon Development (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What Plenty of Gamers is
Plenty of Gamers is a dating and social matching service for gamers (including friendship and teammate discovery). It helps users discover and message other users; it does not guarantee identity, honesty, safety, skill, or outcomes of any in-game or real-world interaction. Plenty of Gamers is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher, platform, console maker, or brand — including Valve Corporation and Steam. Game titles, logos, and artwork shown in the Service are trademarks of their respective owners.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for providing accurate age information. Accounts that violate this rule may be removed without notice.
3. Accounts & verification
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Each person may only create and maintain one account. Creating duplicate accounts, sharing an account, or helping others evade a ban may result in suspension or permanent removal of all related accounts.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Scam, defraud, phishing, or solicit stolen goods or accounts
- Catfish, impersonate others, or misrepresent your identity
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or sexually exploit anyone
- Share illegal content or encourage harm
- Upload profile photos that are explicit, violent, offensive, or do not clearly show your face alone
- Spam, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service
- Create or operate more than one account per person, or share accounts with others
- Violate applicable law or third-party platform rules
We may warn, suspend, or ban accounts, remove content, and cooperate with platforms or authorities when we believe misuse has occurred. We are not obligated to monitor all activity.
5. User interactions - no liability for third parties
Matches, messages, in-game parties, trades, meetups, and any other interactions are solely between users (and third parties). Plenty of Gamers has no control over and no liability for catfishing, scams, theft, griefing, harassment, assault, or any other conduct by users or anyone you meet through the Service. You use the Service and interact with others at your own risk. Verify people yourself; never share account passwords, authenticator codes, or payment details with other users.
6. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, accurate Steam or third-party game data, or successful matching.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DRAGON DEVELOPMENT, PLENTY OF GAMERS, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE AFFILIATES AND OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF ACCOUNTS, ITEMS, DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR FROM INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS - EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. Aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Service in the prior 12 months or (b) USD $50.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dragon Development, Plenty of Gamers, and their respective affiliates and operators from claims arising out of your content, your conduct, or your breach of these Terms.
9. Payments
Digital purchases and subscriptions are governed by the Payment Terms. All sales are final except where required by law.
10. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms by posting a new version and bumping the version stamp. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance when we re-prompt you, or as otherwise required. We may suspend or terminate access at any time for misuse or operational reasons.
